Supervision workshop for gestalt psychotherapists
This workshop is open-ended in order to focus on issues that are of interest and concern to the participants.
We will set times for analysis of assessment and interventions with case study material that participants find interesting and/or challenging. The focus will be on questions of individual therapy and the therapeutic relationship. We will also explore a phenomenological approach to Gestalt analysis and how to construct a narrative that includes the data from the case study in order to clarify the existential situation that the client is living.
A second area of supervision focus will be on live supervision in the group in which the participants will have the possibility to work with a client (someone from the group) and receive supervision and feedback that is concentrating on the therapists’ strength and options for growth in a non-threatening and supportive way.
